Okay so I am wondering about taking a Fly Fishing class in the spring after ice is gone or close to it. Does anyone have any suggestions about classes around the Ogden/SLC area? Help would be great.
THanks~

Sorry I am in the wrong area to help you, but if you don't find a class you might look for a local club. Many have classes or instructions sessions. Check with the fly shops.

Another possibility is to hire a guide for a half a day and go learn on some water. Private lesson! Again ask around for recommendations.

I'm working with Roy City to hold a ladies only fly casting class.
This will be offered sometime in the Spring.
It will be offered through the Recreation Dept.
This may fit your need, if you don't find something else first.

Best fly fishing class I have ever taken was from Navidomskis at Davis High School, his website for classes is http://www.wildtrouts.com/ I promise if you go to his class you will catch a ton of fish for the rest of your life. He also takes you out on the river 3 times so you get some hands on training.

Thanks! Ill have to look into the Davis class, and think about hiring a guide(which might be a little pricey for me) Smile Fly Goddess rocks though, I do know that.

Good luck. Guides I know can be pricey, but there are also lots of people on here that are more than willing to help out fellow anglers. If you need any help just give us a shout out.
