Just thought I'd post mostly a nothing post, except.---------------, I don't know, this is for the simple folks. [laugh] I've had mine about 3-4 years now and have done nothing to it but lug it to many, many fishing spots thru brush stickers, and other junk. It has no add on for extra poles, sonar, etc., etc.(just some carrying straps) and I fish only with one pole and have had a ball catching everything I wanted.
I'm trying to speak for the keep it simple folks, no need for the gadgets to add on and have fun. [

Good on ya. That is what they were designed for. Light weight to get into remote places that you can't get a boat or pontoon into.

Keeping it straight up simple is really good sometimes.
I have grown attached to my sonar---and motor, but there are still a few lakes that I don't want to tote them into, so when I go there it is just the tube, one rod, and me.

I guess you go thru different "phases" in your fishing life. A few years ago I was driving 2 hours to Ky Lake fishing ledges and creek channel drops using a computer hooked up to a GPS, fishing what we call in KY a "spider Rig" slow trolling 6 to 8 rods at a time. Now I am content fishing "small waters" close to home with my kickboat. I could fish everyday and not be able to fish all the spots in this 3 county area. I am enjoying this site! Thanks for everyones input!

[cool][#0000ff]No arguments from me, old friend. It is always about personal preferences. Whatever you enjoy most is right for you. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I will be the first to confirm that you do very well with your system. You always catch fish and nobody has any more fun at it. That makes it a perfect system.[/#0000ff]

have just started in the tube scene this year thanks to my brother.... And I like it alot... Almost like fishing from a recliner[
] I have a boat as well but my tube can go much more places than the boat and it only takes one person myself to do it with the tube... Only thing I would like to add to my tube is a pole rack for 2 poles just for conveniance that is all... aoh and some back straps for long walk ins..

During the winter months, the gate to the lake I fish most is closed. Although the lake is still open to fishing, it requires about a 5 minute walk over the hill to reach.
Because of this I have scaled back the amount of gear that I have been bringing along. It's kind of a nice change of pace.
