I was thinking about running out to Mantua tonight with one of my kiddies. I've fished Mantua quite a bit but never towards the evening.

Was hoping to get a bit of advice on any differet tactics as well as the safety of the ice as of the recent colder weather. If not maybe I'll fight the crowds Sat am.

I haven't fished Mantua in the evenings, but glo jigs work everywhere else for me at night. I've done well in the evenings with both jigging and dead sticking. Good luck with the kiddo.
