Just a quick report for those going out this weekend. Fished it Thursday with my two brothers (one is Cdragon). We did decent, caught about 35-40 tigers between us. Most were 16 inches and under, with a couple that were bigger. Brother caught a fat 21 incher. We fished close to the bank on the east side in 10-12 ft and did ok. We moved out to 20 feet and did well there too. However, the 21 incher was caught in 10 feet.
Unfortunately, it was hard to find an area without slush. There was about a foot of snow on top as well, so be prepared for a workout if you don't have a snowmobile.
Small ice flies with a meal worm worked best. Happy fishing!
