Does anyone know where you can rent portable firepit? The kind sort of like a big charcoal bowl grill with legs.
THanks, Nate
Ohya- I'm in Orem, and am going to use it at Starvation over this weekend.

I think the fire restrictions imposed on the state only allow for Coleman type stoves. If you can have one in a pit, I'm sure it has to be a USFS designated fire pit...these are usually only found in the pay-for-use campgrounds. I hope I'm wrong though. Have fun camping, and good luck fishing!

I don't know about them renting a fire pit but rental places like Universal or Diamond, rent propane grills that have legs. They might be worth a call to find out what else they have to rent, just a thought. Good luck. WH2

I know of no rentals but Fred Meyer's is full of portable firepits with a lid and screen enclosing them at closeout pricing for the year.
I do not know what the fire restrictions are but I do know that high output propane burners are legal and make fairly good substitute "campfires" without the risk of a ticket.

If you want to check out the fire restrictions go to www.utahfireinfo.gov/. They will tell you what you can have or not.

Many of the campsites at Starvation have those built in welded steel charcoal grills. You may want to check with the parkies if your reserved site already has one.
Good Fishing, Kayote
