That is hard to believe after all the good fishing in the last few days. Sorry it had to be you on a slow day. The Kokes did bite light but they weren't hard to find. Maybe its better to be lucky than good.[

I'm headed in the morning. Did you fish 1' off of the bottom in 30' of water? Most of the bites at Mackay always come from schools that are more like fishing perch.

I was in 22' of water on the bottom until they really got excited and then they went all over the water column.
I went to the upper launch area and I was 50yrds straight down lake from the permanent shanty that was there. It didn't have paint if there are any more out there now.

I generally fish off the main dock out by all the Ice Huts that are left out there. Close to where I first saw you last year.
