I had a chance to go to Wyoming last week and I pounded the Burbott in the boat. We were fishing with cutter bugs 2 and 1/2 inch and 3 and 1/2 inch glows. We were able to swing by Basin Sports and Benedicts market in Mountain View and stock them plenty heavy for all you boys that love to pound them Burbott! Good Luck on the 5K Burbott! I'd love to see what kinda tackle the guy who wins buys! In fact it would be way awesome to see a Flaming Gorge hound win it! If you know what I mean! Merry Christmas to ya'll! I think I'll go fishin now that I got the kids and grandkids takin care of!

Burbot schmurbot, PIKEMAN. Let me know when you're walkin' on water at either Deer Creek or Starvation.

PS: Were you on Santa's naughty or nice list this year?

Alright My wife says I walk on water every day usually thin ice [Wink] but I will let you know when the hard deck happens at both.

I am with perchinski. Burbot are boring to catch and have little fight in them. Dont get me wrong, I am glad people are anxious to go kill them. But for my gas money, I'll spend the day pounding pup macs or targeting big lakers, rather than sitting out all night. Burbot are just plain worthless, curse the guy that put them in the Green River.
