So, where is everyone going for Labor Day weekend? Just curious to see what kind of fun everyone will be having. I'll be spending the entire weekend camping up at Strawberry. My wife and I bought a new Eddie Bauer 8 person tent last night -- I know overkill for just the two of us but it's on sale at Target right now, normally $199 but on sale for $137, plus she works there so we get 10% off of that. Over all a great deal, looks like a good tent 3 rooms. Hopefully it works out well. Anyway, we're going to test it out at the 'Berry this weekend. We'll be fishing from her parents boat, and in the hot part of the day doing a little water skiing. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I am going to be with One_eyed_jack and his family and my family staying at the family property in Altonah Utah. Fishing the lake fork, moon lake and some possible day trips above swift creek or into brown duck basin, we will see. Main purpose of trip is to relax, have some beverages and catch up before fall starts. Plus it might be good to hang out with the family before I be come non existant for the entire month of October.

BTW- before my father past away a year ago, he was a deseret industrys junkie. In the past year I have been going through the treasure chest he called a garage, sorting and discovering the toys my father left behind. I have found quite a few. Well the other day One_eyed_jack and I were lost in the garage and found a 8-10 person kelty tent, nearly new, still plastic covering some of the components that my father bought from DI for $2, the best part is when I erected the tent, I found $1.50 in change in it. No damage, seems to be used only once or twice. But it is missing the rain fly, any ideas any place or where to get that replaced.

Sorry aquaman! What a bummer. Well, you can get back at us all when we're back at work and wishing it was still a holiday and you're out fishing. Just don't give too loud of a report, some people might still have hangovers!

I'm headen out to help my little bro. with his elk hunt. After he misses, though, I think I'll hit Electric, Huntington, or Joes Valley. Millers Flat or Cleavland might be a possibility too. I just wana get into some trout!

Hey I have one of those ..... a tent with no rain fly [Smile] It too is a three roomer and FB2 and I use it for hunting. Just the right size for 2 and their gear. Measure the tent Polo and pick up a tarp to use as a rain fly. They work pretty well and you wont have any trouble finding one.
