Want to go down to otter creek in the next little bit, i'm wondering where people stay when they go down there? Any where to camp nearby this time of year?

Thanks in Advance

The campground at the state park is open in the winter, and I have seen people camped there before. From what I have heard the ice is not in too good of shape, but that could and probably will change quickly.

You can also stay at the Rockin' R ranch. Its a summer dude ranch but their doors are open in the winter for guys like yourself. PM me if interested I am good friends with the owner and could get you a discount room.

[ol][li]Where's the Rockin R? I could be interested. I would be interested in a multiday trip, but I'm not hardy enough to camp out.[/li][/ol]

Rockin' R is in Antimony -- just a couple miles from the reservoir.

with temps forecasted in the teens, and lower, ice conditions shouldn't be much of an issue this weekend at Otter Creek...
