Hey fellow Bft'rs... Heres a thought that could help us all out especially with early ice... Its really awesome to see that peeps are getting out and catchin fish.. What i'd like to propose is that when you're posting your reports,and pics. Can ya just drop a few lines about what conditions were like on your trip.. Such as the important stuff everybody needs to know.. EDGES,ICE THICKNESS and TEMPS.. This would help us all out as we are reading your posts and planning our trips as well...thanks in advance [fishon]

Want to add this tid bit of info on Causey... Went for a drive xmas day and ended up at Causey about 2pm and the air temp was 25° nobody out fishin but thought there could of been a couple holes very close to the shore@ the 1st bend opposite of damn. Drove to boyscout arm and from the dam to about 40-50yard from the end was pretty solid looking. I threw a couples rocks out and they just bounced.... Sd o im bettin its @ 3" BUT its just getting down there that would be the beast.. Oh by the way the middle still looked week..id say about 1-1/2"... Thats the current 411.
