Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie to this site and am in the process of trying to establish my own website. I am an amateur webprogrammer/ fisherman/ insurance salesman who is married with 2 younger children.

Born and raised in Canada, my first experience was casting off the dock at my family's cabin up in Falcon Lake, Manitoba.

Apparently fishing is pretty good up that way but I would never have known... over the next 10 or 15 years I think I maybe caught 10 fish if I am lucky.

It wasn't until about 3 years ago when my boss took me up to Helliars Resort for some late october fishing that I really learned what real fishing was all about.

Since then I get out when ever I can... all I know is that in that first day I caught more fish then I had in my whole life.

I am 30 years old now and I don't think I really used to appreciate it before... but now I do... and best of all my kids love it. Whether we are fishing for small mouth, black crappie, walleye or northern pike I always have a blast.

I am looking forward to getting established in the community and I am hopeful that you guys like my site.

[#008000][Image: happy.gif]Hi Grant and welcome to the BFT. When the fishing is slim I always like to think that its not only about catching but the experience one has with nature. Got to have some type of excuse when I come home with an empty creel. lol[/#008000]
