So I checked the river today here in Salmon and NO SLUSH!!!!!!! I am so very excited to hit the river in the morning. I have a brand new Loomis Steelhead series rod with a new Curado lined up and ready to go. I have been chomping at the bit since Christmas. The weather warmed enough this week and it should be good all weekend......I'll hopefully be posting some pics, but will definitely post an update tomorrow night when I get in.

I will be looking forward to your report. Wish I lived as close as you do so I could get out more often.

Well i got up this morning and was headed towards North Fork to head down river below Shoup and we pass a couple of cops directing traffic as a vehicle had just rolled. We just get passed the wreck and my cell phone rings and it is my son telling me to come back as it was him and his friend that had rolled. They both are fine thank God!!!! The roads were a lil slick this morning and the were passing a slower vehicle and started to fish tail and the next thing they knew the were upside down on the side of the road. Well to say the least no fishing was done today. Maybe Sunday won't have so much turmoil and I will have a report then as I have to work tomorrow.

That's not the report we wanted to hear. Just glad they were not injured.

Glad to hear that no one was hurt in the accident. The animals on the road are bad enough this time of year, let alone the road conditions. My son and I hit an elk on the way up last February and almost totaled my truck. We are all anixious to hear how the fishing and conditions are up there in GOD's country. Keep us posted and better luck to your son and his friend!
