Fished off cemetary point sunday. Was hoping to find a few keeper perch and maybe a crappie or two. Found a lot of dink perch they were hitting almost every drop. Many were in the 4-6" range and even the BIG perch were smaller than what I consider an average perch. Never found anything close to 9 inch range. Drilled a lot of holes but all dinks. I would love to find some crappie up there but as far as the dink perch they are too small to get me excited. We caught close to 100 fish between 2 fishermen so it was a lot of tiny fish. Here is a pic of some of the catch

I'm not sure if you noticed when you were cleaning them but they all had a lot of eggs. Every single on of mine had eggs... So couldn't figure out how to clean them so I did the best I could and got a couple but not all..
Next time I'm keeping them in the water to grow and give birth

Most of the fish did have eggs. I had a few males mixed in. I fillet mine. Unfortunately when you bring perch up from 35-45 feet of water thier swim bladders pops out of their mouth and you cant just toss them back in. There have been several posts about fizzing ( small hole to deflate the swim bladder) or those little rigs that take them back down to the bottom. Tube dude had a post where he showed some he makes. Have never tried them. Either way you cant just throw them back in the hole they wont survive.
