Jim was ready to go when I called and we fished from about 4:45 until dusk. Jmax had run out of fish in his freezer and so we went meat fishin'. It was very cold again, colder than last night, but the wind was milder, thank God! We used PAs on 1/32oz jigs and the fish seemed to be very close to bottom and not suspended. The bite was a bit slower than yesterday but still we were on some pretty good ones from time to time. We ended up with 16 crappie with a few being non-keepers today. No TARPs were boated but one was close and I think that Jim stuck a couple that would have been close but let them get off. We had 3 bass, a white bass, 3 bluegills, and a fish that Jmax had never seen before. I think that it was a Red Horse Shiner. My finger tips and toes were numb for about 30 minutes after we got back.
