went out wednesday and thursday with a few guys, abosolutely slayed the perch....i would say and i promise you it's not a fish story, about 500 caught each day. however, as fun as it was...i really havent been able to come across the size i have been looking for so far this year. kept plenty of 7 inch fish and quite a few just under 8 inches for a couple fish frys. limiting out around the 7 to 7 and 1/2 inch range would not have been a problem if we wanted to.

we fished about 930am to 3pm both days, wax worms, from 30 to 55 ft deep. on wednesday i did manage to get one 11 inch perch and the next day my buddy got one 10 inches....but those were the only two fish of any size. seemed like the deeper i went the more and more tiny crappies i caught, tons of little ones never did find any that had some size to them.

not sure how this weather is affecting them, but if you're not getting any bites, keep moving, they're there!

should be out there monday morning, if the weather permits....

Where 'bouts were you guys fishing? I am headed up Tuesday morning when my buddy and I get off of work. I was thinking about heading out from the port ramp over to browning point. Or there's always the narrows. I've only ever fished the narrows and cemetary pt.

Friday, the 7th we hit the narrows and did real well with perch...usual small bunch of them anyway. We did get lucky and haul in a nice 38" musky tho.

we were in the narrows, i usually fish cemetary point.....cant really seem to go wrong either way i dont think. i would like to try browning point as i haven't ever been out that direction....but it seems the results are usually the same, them perch are everywhere.
