I have never fished on Magic but I hear it can produce some good sized perch. Someone told me that some years are good and some are not. Anyone got fresh intel?

Was there a week and a half ago. We caught 2 keeper perch after fishing all day. Found a lot of perch in 40 feet but they were very finicky. The trout fishing was pretty good. My best days perch fishing there have been later in the season, February and March. Hope this helps.
