Like I said this will be my first trip out on the ice just got my auger today and am ready to go just don't know the tricks, so any help or advise would be greatly apprieciated!

I have fished both for many years and usually do well. I think its about six's for the amount of fish you will catch. I would start in about 20 ft. of water in the Taylor Hollow area for EC or have had good success on the east side of Rockport in the area of the campround that you come to just before the boat ramp. Gizzy bugs and smaller tube jigs in white, chartuese, or glow tipped with wax worms or night crawlers have worked well for me. Good Luck! You may need a plank if the shorelines are soft from the warming weather.
