[font "Comic Sans MS"]Well my neighbor and I decided to try our luck at the Cisco Disco today and Boy, what trip it turned out to be. Started out fine , until we got into Logan Canyon. Roads were driveable but snow packed most of the way until we got to top and then it TOTAL WHITEOUT. The wind was blowing so haed we couldn't see anything for about for a few minutes, turned on the flashers and was hoping not to get creamed by and other vehicle. Finally got a break in the wind so we took off from there.[/font]
[font "Comic Sans MS"]Stopped at the first gas station for coffee and headed over to Cisco beach. As we were driving by the water, we noticed that because the wind was still blowing pretty good the water was very rough and there were some good waves crashing into the rocks on the shore. We saw people being knocked down by the waves and one guy with just a T-Shirt on trying to net Cisco, Crazy Day. [/font]

Hey that sounds like our trip, minus the complete white-out and throw In a boat . We thought we would try the rock pile, we waited out the early morning storm but by the time we got there it was pretty rough again. Fished for about a half hour, caught 3 cisco . Then the white caps decided to join us. So we called it a day. By the time we loaded the boat it was full of water, like pouring over the transom full. What do ya do... Try again later I guess [

I was there sat. and today, yesterday was probably the most scared I've been on the lake. we also waited out the storm and launched my boat at 1st point and headed for the rock pile. not bad on the way there, but the way back was way bad. any way today was much better, easy limit in about fifteen minutes on cisco beach

Bout 2 limits there were 6 of us so not a good hawl but we are looking towards to getting them in the smoker. MMMMMMMMMM.

Thats too funny, I looked right at you guys when you were stopped by the fish and game tent. You were talking to some other guys. I walked right by you , I was wearing a Red and Black Checkered jacket with a BFT Sweatshirt under it.

I'm really glad I did not go now but that sounds like the weather I expected. Did they cook the cisco and do the polar plunge like they were planning? Did you get any pictures of that if they did?

Curt looks like you were right with your call on this one, LOL. They did do the Polar plunge and Scott was with his wife cooking up a storm as usual. I didn't get any shots of that, but Scott has some posted on Facebook .

Hey Dan , B.C.& J.J. , Know just what your talkin' about on Saturday . So we hit it monday morn . Man was it great , Clear skies calm water . We got there about 6:45 & was in the water by 7:10. [cool] There was about 20 people total . We were done by 8:30 . [
] I caught 25 & B.C. caught the rest of his limit from friday . Hope they are still running for you . Good Luck !!!
