I fished the tournament, everything was nice and calm until about 2 miles from the Devils creek, then the gale force winds kicked in, we watched someone try to put up a ice cube pop up tent, without putting a few stakes in first, needles to say it blew up and over a ridge on the east side of the lake. They did manage to recover it. Fishing was pretty slow, i did manage to see plenty of fish on the flasher, they were just not interested in biting. The wind was off and on all day, but overall it was a good time.

Thanks for the reports . On the Idaho Board there was someone that was going to use a four wheeler and didn't make it onto the ice . Hit the edge and were stuck for a while . Curt G.

Yes that was us on the 4 wheeler. Just another day at the office. We wenched and got it out. Had to give them guys a chance to win the money. Then we went to the other side. Drove right on. Went about 50 feet on the ice popped the old tent up and ended up catching about 16 in our party and registered 4 of them. 1 of those was a winner. Even though it was a tough bite. Won some of that Idaho Money. Bought me a nice camera. The fish better look out now. I guess that 17 year old was paying attention all these years when I was sharing my tips. Now you know how he got his name. Dabomb strikes again. He threw the hurt on those Idaho fish.
