We fished at the Holmes Crossing area on Friday and Saturday and caught a few thugs. We were glow tube jigs and grubs, both tipped with sucker meat. We had better luck jigging then with dead sticking. Most of our hits came right after the recharge and drop.
The ice was 6 inches thick, clear and slick, bring your ice spikes. There was alot of wind on Saturday. There was a group setting up near us, and when they opened up one of their camp chairs the wind caught it. The chair stayed standing, and was blown all the way across the lake.
I hope this info helps all the Bashers put some hurt on the Burbort. Good luck in the tournament and be careful.
