As I write this I am thinking in a few months I will most likely be on the lake at this time of evening while now it is dark and cold out.( I will also try the night fishing this summer for sure.)
So tonite I am poking around the site and notice Idaho is a very active forum. Utah and Nevada also seem to be while the Dakotas (which have fantastic fishing) and Nebraska are pretty dead forums. I will poke around more at other states forums also, for curiousity if nothing else.
I just wanted to say I really like reading what others are doing, saying, trying and are up to. We are lucky to have something to follow here and people to shout out to for a quick update on conditions or advice and such. I try and report on lots of my outings even tho catching at times seems to be a lost art for me. I just like being out as numer one, even tho it gets frustrating at times.
Thanks to all for keeping good threads and thoughts going, whether in fun or reporting or educational.
I tried at least three new waters last summer partly and/or mainly due to this forum and look forward to trying at least that many more new waters this summer also from this forum.
Sunshine and warmth are not far behind first pitch and opening day while pitchers and catchers are reporting soon....a good sign.

The activity of the state forums here depends on whether there was already an active forum for the state on another site. The Washington board here is dead, because all of the WA anglers go to the Piscatorial Pursuits forum. I'm sure it's the same with other states. There just wasn't an active Idaho fishing forum when BFT came online, so that's where everyone ended up.
