Stainless steel props are being stolen up north! I think they are only stealing volvo penta props dont remember exactly. Since lakes are dry there are a lot of damaged props and there is a demand on them! The thieves seem to target only the expensive props and do know what they are looking for and doing! Boaters beware!

It was up north somewhere i think around lehi and up salt lake. Unfortunately i dont have a boat yet maybe next year.

They do seem to be targeting only the stainless steel Props. Most likely do to better resale value. There was a short clip on the news over the weekend on this and the Daily Hearld had an [size 1]article[/size] on it on Friday.
