I wish I could cast farther. I am building an 11'6" surf rod and am going to put an Alvey reel on it. Anybody know how to "power cast?" Anybody want to meet at Point Pleasant or around that area for a bit of casting school in the spring when my rod is done?<br><br>Tight lines at sea, screamin kids at home!

I was there once, by the big pipe, but no fish. I will be there again in April (right?) for another shot at stripers. At what time of the day do you fish there in the summer? Sunrise, Sunset or other? I have been to Jenks 4 out of the past 5 weekends, and the surf has looked like a bathtub.<br><br>Tight lines at sea, screamin kids at home!
