Fishing Forum

Had a chance to go to strike for a couple of hours today, caught 2 trout fishing from shore between Black sands and the cove campgrounds. Most people I talked to said it was slow. Fog with a little wind made it cold. Bruneau arm had some ice in the middle, open water to Cottenwood. There was a lot of water being let out, even some over the spillway. From the empty boat trailers it looked like about 25 boats in the water.
It was good to get away from the house for a while.

i talked to a coworker last night he fished the shoreline between black sands to the dam and said it was fishing well with green powerbait and yellow marshmellow / pinch of nightcrawler combo. he and his buddy caught 9 'bows from 12"-18 5/8" they were fat abnd cruising the shoreline. i didn't see the fish but he is a straight shooter. i am going to try it next weekend barring weather.
