Does anyone know where I could find a few good dove spots down here? I see them in town all the time, but I don't know where to go out of city limits.

I'd look around the farming area and look for ponds that the bird fly to. If the area is geting lots of pressure put out some decoys and wait. It's just like any other hunt, you've got to get out and look for them.
I'm sure everybody up north is having a best hunt in years. Down south were still waiting for the doves to move in.
