Drove up to the Gorge last Friday morning and camped at Lucerne Campgrounds. Fished a bit during the afternoon for 3-4 hours and came in because of high winds and threatening weather. Saturday was mostly the same with strong gusty winds and overcast skies. Sunday was a perfect day with little winds all day long. The fishing was slow for most anglers and very few people used the fish cleaning station. I fished east of the Anvil Draw boat ramp where many boats gather to jig for kokes...Saw a few caught but none by us. I did manage to get a nice 22 inch laker jigging. I also caught an 18 inch rainbow trolling a kastmaster and my girlfriend managed to catch a 15 inch kokanee trolling popgear and wedding ring at 40 feet. The fishing was slow but so nice to get out camping with friends and loved ones for a few days.
