Has anyone been out around Lincoln Beach lately? Wondering how the ice held up during the warm spell and if anybody is finding any fish. If anybody has would appreciate the info.

We were there last Sat. afternoon. Fished inside the harbor and out around in front of the first spring. Only got a few bites and didn't catch anything, I think it's a little better in the morning. The ice is great though, 8" solid everywhere we went.

Can't say about Lincoln Beach, but I drove to Utah Lake State Park on Wednesday for giggles. The south end of the lake was ice free as far as I could see. Everything north of the Provo River was iced up.

I fished Lincoln Beach last Fri. (Jan. 28). Got a late start and only fished for a couple hours. I talked to some guys in the harbor that had arrived early and they iced a few gills. I was looking for white bass and headed out to the main lake to find deeper water. I saw a lot of lookers on the finder but no takers. Skunked.
If I were you I would get an early start or even better take the time and drive to another lake (DC, Pineview or Strawberry) with faster action.

I was out that way earlier this week and Bill Loy was doing his carp thing just south of the dike. Looked like he was just finishing up and I saw him on the ice driving his little Isuzu with his conveyer hooked on behind. He drove off on the ice toward Sandy Beach so yeah, I'd say the ice is plenty thick for fishin'.
