Why do they keep raising the water on the Weber ?
It was 600 cfs a few days ago. In this weather somebody is going to drown. Its higher than the Box Canyon.

That are anticipating alot of runoff this spring becauseof the snow pack so they are moving all the water to the lower dams to make room for the spring runoff.

Fished the Weber at the mouth of the canyon and the flows were really high again, pretty much summertime flows it seemed like. Made fishing difficult but still managed a couple.

Be careful out there----357 cfs.

might have to do with the snowpack up top. since its already at 200% (dont quote me on that its just what i read or heard) they might be making room in rockport and echo for the runoff already.

The Weeb. outflow from Echo is 347 scfm and has been that for a while now. I understand the concern for high res. levels and snow melt but this is many, many times the normal flows. Does anyone have any info, as to when this will get back to normal? It's ruining my fishing!! [frown][frown][frown]
