Talk about a last minute post. I'm going ice fishing tomorrow and was hoping to get into some kokanee, has anyone fished Big Elk Creek recently? I'm trying to decide between going there or Ririe - but I've never fished Big Elk before. Any info would be great!!!

I hope someone answers you. I would like to know about Big Elk as well. Ririe was slow for us today. There was a group near us nailing them, but they never seemed to make it to us.

We nailed them at ririe today dunno if that was us or not that you saw, anyhow sorry for the highjack a friend of mine fished big elk creek today and landed 4 Kokanee and 11 trout ice was 2 Feet thick, with aruond 6 - 12" snow on the ice... hope this helps..
