Went fishing at Roy pond yesterday and caught some very strange looking trout. One looked like an old man and this one looked like a Dolphin. What do you think?

Man, those old stockers are getting uglier and uglier!!!

I don't know how he would taste. I let those big fish go back to fight another day. Iv'e caught six fish over 5 pounds in the last two day at that pond. I don't know if this site will let me post more than one picture at a time but here are a few of them. Sterling

those all look like the fish from Cabelas, they have some pigs swimming around their tanks but they are all beat up and disfigured as well. Maybe thats where they discard their fish when they get too chewed up?

My guess would be that they are brood fish from one of the state hatcheries. When some of the big spawners get past their prime UDNR sometimes stocks them in local waters for people to catch.

Correct.
These fish come from the Egan Hatchery.
The Community Ponds are a great place for these fish to be stocked .
What a thrill it can be for a youngster to tie into one of these fish.

Awesome fish! Any chance you could help me out with a time to go? After reading this post I went the next morning and was dissapointed to find it iced over. Is it open during the evening? Thanks!
