This weekend is the final tournament of the year for the Nevada Striper Club.

They will be holding the championship fish-off with the top 10 anglers. This is my first year but I made the cut (10th place) Come to the weigh-in at the Las Vegas Bay picnic area from noon to 1pm on Sunday.

Great so this means my weekend is ruined because the whole lake is gonna be swamped with big bass boats [:p] just kidding. Where you guys launching from ? And is the whole lake open for the tourney or you guys just gonna fish boulder. Have fun with your new fishing rig and good luck at the tourney[cool]

I'm fishing a Bass Anglers Federation tournament at Mohave on Saturday.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 74.

We are launching from Echo Bay.

The whole lake is open during tournaments.
You can drive over to Kingman Wash, Temple Bar, or launch from your favorite place on the NV side.

The fishing club is setup for the working man and the family, shore and boat fishing.
Fish Saturday go home sleep and come back for Sunday and the weigh-in.

Note: My Cousin is taking my old boat.

Just wondering how the tx went for you. I went out of cottonwood on Sunday. Tough day for me, only managed a couple deep off points.

Well, kind of. I've got a 21' fish n ski but I'd like to have a smaller fishing boat as well (or instead). The problem is it's not a big priority because I need to drop a motor in my truck.

How did you guys end up doing with the tourney's?[cool]

Man, I blanked. It was a hard day on Mohave. Still took near 15 lbs to win it, with a big bass going six pounds.

I took 6th, 1 free membership and a small check.
Making the top 15 was my goal but the top ten was a bonus.
