Is there place in Northern Utah that my boy and I can catch some pike this year. I know pine view and Newton have tiger musky, but I was wondering about a smaller version for my boy to get tied into.

I had great luck on Redmond catching pike last spring. They were not huge, but I caught a lot of them. They were all between 19-23". I've tried targeting pike at Yuba, but all I seem to catch there is carp.

It's not in Utah, but Comins Lake near Ely, Neveda has pike in it. Its very small and easily accessable from shore if you don't have a boat. I was there several years back and caught some small ones. HTH, Fred K.
