SKUNK SEASON IS OVER!

I got out on the water this morning at 7:45 and arrived at my honey hole about 8. On the third or fourth cast I put an end to the terrible winter doldrums with a 3lb'ish spotted bass! He didn't put up much of a fight and I landed him pretty quickly. After the sun started beating down I didn't catch a thing. My co-pilot which was a bag of concrete, took the photo of the bass. After being blown around like a sailboat and popping wheelies trying to plane-out yesterday I put a bag of concrete in the bow to keep it down, totally redneck idea, but worked like a champ. emoApplause

The water is still at 42-43 degrees and I didn't see much fish activity other than a lot of schooling bait fish around 20-30'. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the new SONAR.

I did bump into a fellow CFF'er (deepwater) while on the water which was nice!
