Worms. I've caught more fish on good old worms than anything else combined probably. Although my best day fishing ever was with eggs (cured with borax and jello) Nushigak river in Alaska fishing from the bank I caught 50 salmon (kings and Chum). My wife caught probably 15 and she was so tired she took a nap on the beach. I knew it was a once in a lifetime day of fishing so I kept at it until my arms were throbbing.

Worms no doubt about it..

Chunk of a fish cut and put on a hook. Often a sucker or chub.

Gotta go with worms 1st, then wax worms and last of all meal worms.

Waxworms are by far my favorite natural bait followed by worms and then cutbait.
