Had a buddy invite me up to arrowrock this weekend. I'm a little concerned about how fishable it will be right now. Anyone been up there recently or heard about it? Is the boat ramp accessable? is there ice? Also, when should the kokanee be biting up there?
thanks for the help!

Make sure you have a nice trolling set up w/ some leaded line [

If there's no ice and you launch by the dam, then I would motor east about a mile to where Blacks Creek runs into the reservoir. Trolling back and forth about 50-100 yds from the mouth of the creek should be alright, spot them on the fish finder, one color should be 5 feet down w/ the line. If you don't find any koke's there's plenty of good sized trout that won't be too deep. Try a Kastmaster either cast and retrieve or troll (if you troll w/ the kastmaster, make sure you twitch the rod every now and then and troll making an "S" to get the right action out of it). Or just troll a rapala. That's my 2 cents. Hope you catch something.
If I didn't have a bum back, I'd meet you up there w/ my canoe. haha!
