Keep us posted on the ice and edges as I plan on unloading between Big and Little Elk on Monday morning with my Big Blue Yamaha, tow sled and two Grandkids.

Tight lines.

I should have kept driving so that I could see how you were doing. We fished the Big Elk area today.

It was great to meet so many BFT members today. We saw Steeladdict, and Oregonguy, and we fished with DeeCee and his son for quite some time. We were catching a few, but DeeCee had the hot hole for the day and he was kind enough to invite us over.

Oregonguy was the hole still hot when we left?

I had a great time today fishing with my wife, youngest son and 6 month old daughter, Steelfisher, and his wife, as well as another neighbor. Kind of a long drive to have a block party.[laugh] I am also happy to report that I kept my eyes on the road at all times. [Wink]

The bite did slow down. We happened to land about 6 or so but that was all. I knew it was getting a little late. All my experiences have shown that it shuts down by 2ish. I was happy that both guys that were with me were able to catch there first fish through the ice. When fishing at blowout this morning I caught all the fish and they were getting a little impatient. The bite seemed to be a bit tough for all that I spoke with. I still blame the full moon for it.[Wink]

Fishing was slow for trout . I caught 1 Cuttrought , 2 Suckers and 6 Chubs . The edges are good and there was a fourwheeler on the ice . I got on the ice at Blowout Boat ramp . Curt G.

[Smile] Hey it also was good to meet so many BFT members! Windriver, I enjoyed meeting you and your wife Cami and Steelfisher too. Had a few minutes to visit with Oregonguy also. My son Grant was really into the fish. He caught at least 25 and released all but his six. He had just the right color of a rubber jig. I think all of us limited out. It was a hoot having all five of us at one point almost shoulder to shoulder and hauling them in. I think three of the five of us had fish on at one time.

DeeCee-Bft reigns!

My buddy and I went up there (Big Elk) Sat. A.M. and got into the kokes. Iced a bunch, kept turning them back, looking for the big ones, they never showed. We took our limit and left. Met a guy and his son (was that you DeeCee?) and gave them our bait and holes, hope it worked out for them. I like the closeness of PaliSades (compared to Mackey) but the hump out of there was enough to make me hire some sherpers next time. Heaven forbid I should lose weight or exercise

Yep, those must have been your holes that we all flocked too. Thanks for going home.[Wink]

Welcome to BFT.

[Smile] Yup, havntgotaclue, that was us. We sure appreciated your generosity with the bait and letting us use your holes.
Your kindness benefitted us and several others (Windriver and his family and Steelfisher and Oregonguy). Thanks, again.
