We hit the lake around 7:30 am. Decided to fish the west side for the 1st time.. I think we were at the 3rd pull out just before the rest area.. We walked out about 300 yrds and set up camp.. Water depth was 60'.. It didnt take long before the 1st hook up.. I knew it was a decent fish when the drag started to scream.. Up came a laker.. I didn't measure or weight it.. You decide.. just a couple of photos then back down it went.. About 1/2 hr and wham another hook up.. Not a huge cutt, but dinner.. These 2 were caught on a yellow 5" torpedo radical glow tube tipped with cisco tail.. Another hr passed when I decided to put on a 4" pear Krocodile tipped with cisco .. on the way down WHAM and it was on !!! Drag was singing and i was a Smiling big time.. This Cutt measured in at 28" long and 15.5 in girth and weighed 10.02 lbs.. My very best on big BLUE and loving it...

So the Cisco be making the Disco! Nice fish man! Sounds like you got on some good ones - and for tending to your plate and your wall with respect to the big beasts! Man - makes me wanna try that ice!
I'm guessing you're not dropping down dinky ice-rods with 4 lb test to chase those beasties, no?
Curious - if you know - what our warm temps, and recent snowfall have done the ice up there?
Funny to catch wet-water reports off one side, and hard water reports off the other! But - must say - both impress!!!
