Here's another impossible question for everyone. Where can I find a map good enough to show me the roads in and out of the north shore coves? Or a websit showing coves with info about them?

i've used google earth to find roads in and out of the lake coves. most of the roads recommend 4x4 but i've seen all types of vehicles down them dirt roads, just beware of signs saying offroad travel prohibited. also i took a reconnaissance trip to the lake one time and found different roads, overlooks, parking lots, and got an idea of places to go. good luck [fishin]

Next time you pass the entrance station ask the fellow for backcountry road map. The best info you can get is just to get out there for yourself [

All right, when I can get the ol ball n chain off my leg I'll head out that way. Maybe bring my 4 yr old daughter. Any info that should be known about the area. Good shore fishing?
