What's your number one goal this year? Lets say when you accomplish the goal you have to let us know with a picture!

I'll start this off, and you probably won't be surprised if you've read my posts in the past, but I'm going to catch a walleye this year! A huge one[Wink] Hopefully I won't fail miserably like I did last year. I even managed a musky last year which came after 1000+ casts, I'm already at 5000+ casts for walleye, what gives?

I have new lures and new poles to test for a few company's I hope they work as good as they look...

My goal is to get out fishing more than ever this year, I'm going to catch a walleye at willard this year and also a mac at BL. I've never caught a walleye and only 1 mac in my life that was just a small pup up at BL through the ice close to 20 years ago. Oh and also want to break my wiper skunk streak this year, haven't caught one the last 2 seasons. Probably going to get out to willard either friday or this weekend and see if I cant get a walleye. Spawn should be starting now.

The number one goal is to catch and photograph a 25lb or bigger Channel Cat.

My goal is to not fish so much. I go too often and spend too much money on gas and every thing else that goes along with it.

To convince my wife to let me buy a boat so I can get on the water, not just the side of it this year. Ill definitely post pics if this goal happens!!

With gas projected to be at $5.00 a gallon I'll stick closer to home and focus on a 20 pound Utah Lake cat. I'll put my time in again after the mythical walleye or maybe a coelacanth, both being about equal in numbers as far as my luck has gone. I'm just looking for some warm weather fishin'. I'm getting close to needing institutionalization for treatment of my SAD condition (Seasonal Affective Disorder, also known as cabin fever) unless immediate warm weather is forthcoming.

Whatever your goal, good luck with it and lets see the pics![Smile]

My lil brother and I started are goal in February. We haven't reached it yet but we want to catch a Northern Pike. I don't care what size or anything I just want to catch one because I never have.

I've got some new baits that I'm going to try, a new wacky worm that should work pretty good (I've got thousands of them in different colors). A new swimbait rod that is calling my name that has been sitting on the wall for about 6 months now that I want to use. Smallmouth fishing at Pineview. A smallmouth over 6 lbs. A walleye over 26". LMB over 8 lbs. More than one trip to Pelican and any lake trout from the Gorge that I can actually land. It's a long list...

My short-term goal for this year is to make a multi-day trip down to Powell with family and friends this spring and hook up with some stripers, bass and crappie.

I hope to be reporting on it soon. [cool]

I thinks we should make this a sticky! !!! And see who accomplishes their goals!!!Lol I am still looking for my c&r record brown (32 in) I want a new personal best musky 45+.. And of course a 20+ lb channel cat [cool] from the " Fuge" I want my grand daddy cat on my wall. Or maybe even the c&r record carp from the "fuge" I WILL get one of these this year! !

I want to catch a few more tiger muskies and beat my personal best at 47", a walleye would be nice never caught one before and to get into bass fishing more instead of trout fly fishing.

I'm gonna keep trying to beat the state catch and release record for cats out in the marsh. Lost one last year that I know would have taken it. Also hoping to tie into some largies and walleye too.

the way you and your comrades fish, and the fish you guys catch, i have no doubt you will get all of those

I am hoping that me and my fishing buddies each catch a 25 lb + mack from Flaming Gorge.

My number one goal is to catch a catfish out of utah lake weighing 10+ lbs. My previous record is 8 lbs. and I need to break into the double digits this year. I also want to catch a muskie this summer. My goal last year was to catch a northern pike, which I accomplished down at Redmond. The pike weren't big, but it was fun to catch them. It is the same for the muskie, I don't really care how big, just as long as I catch one this year.

I've never really had a goal. Just to get out and catch fish.

Oh Bryce! !!! We WILL get u a 15 lb cat this yr no doubt bro!!! That brown is gonna take some work! !! October, November we will get him!

my goal is to teach my little boy how to vertical jig for bluegill. Two reasons. One is that it is the next step in his skill set to learn. The other is so that I can fish my self. I get to reel in about 5 fish every year and he gets to reel in about 100. It is time for him to start learning how to do it a little more independently. Maybe teaching him how to de-hook a fish will be important too.
