hi all fished the narrows today started on the N. side first pull off only got one smallmouth on a MOOSE SHAD and a blue gill moved over to the S. side where i could see hustler898 fishing got three more smallmouth left about 4 PM heading for smith & edwards to meet wannagofishing and go fish willard myself al and kevin lauched our tubes about 530 fished to about 830 al got the only fish at willard a small catfish water is VERY MURKY and cooling down there is at least 30-40 feet of beach between the dike and the water

I meet Hustler up there (Pineview) one night while he was leaving and I fished top water for 2 hours in the night but no luck . I think that was a week or 2 ago but when I left I shined the light on the water to see what was in close to shore and seen all kinds of bluegill hiding behind the rocks in close to shore . Just curious on what you caught the bluegill on . I have seen people catch them there lately . Most were real small . Thanks for the report .

the one blue gill i got was a pretty good sized one about 9" and i got it on a small 1/4 spinner bait got a bull gill tuesdays a bountiful pond on the same spinner

Notta , Mgb was giving me the chance to bring one in today and it decided to run for it while he was undoing the side planer from the line . I'm still trying !!!!!! Working on 3000 cast or more by now . LOL But I love a good challenge . It will be posted here as soon as possible .
