FINALLY got out!! The water was running hard at the secret hole, but the color was not bad and the trash wasn&#39;t either. Water temps in the river channel are about 52 degrees. Boat and engine are both solid, although I still have a few hours to put onto the break-in period yet. The paint job on that old Johnson looks great too.<br /><br />Hard to find fish!! I wandered around and finally found 3 today, but they were mostly nice ones. The runt was 6 or 7 pounds, while the better ones were 27 lbs and 18 lbs. I bare-handed them for the pictures today, and the 27 of course had to bite down and make my knuckles bleed. I was sooooo proud!!! Hopefully a 60 or 80 will chomp down on me in the near future and make me cuss and 
at the same time!!! Poor Polo-dog knows I can cuss when a 70 lber catches my little finger folded over in it&#39;s mouth! I don&#39;t believe I&#39;ll EVER forget that one!<br /><br />Absolutely BEAUTIFUL day! Quite a number of sponsor-wrapped bass boats running up and down the river - probably a practice day for something. Well, here are a couple of pics of today&#39;s catch:
