It's been a couple of weeks since we've been to echo, would like to go one more time, any info on ice conditions? I've heard they are going to drain that place this summer, is that really so? Why?

Drain it more than it normally gets drained? Seems like by the end of the summer half the lake is gone in normal years.

I haven't been on the ice out there but I wouldn't trust anywhere really this time of year in Utah[:p] Kinda asking to get wet!
