We added this 12' aluminum boat to our arsenal of fishing equipment this year and as always I have to modify so I can have my stuff close at hand. I have attempted to keep track of the mods in the Misc. Fishing forum unders boats, imagine that, but it's been fun and chalenging.

I fished from this boat last fall at Cascade when we did so well on the large perch and my friend was moving and had just got a larger boat for his family and offered my wife and I this one.

Now we are waiting for a day for a test run.

Good for you Mike

I have been fishing out of one like this for several years now and love it. You may remember it when we fished together at lake lowell a couple of years ago. Hope to see you on Strike when the weather warms up a bit.

Keep the line line in the water !!

Hey where's my hat??[Wink]
How's it been ?
I needed to take some pic's of yours, it's what inspired me and after I fished in this one with 3 peoople (before the changes) I figured a man of my athletic stature would be able to make use of a craft of this size.

How's that for ramblin[:p]

Let's just put on a calendar, some Saturday.

Idahopanfisher, I just wanted to put this out there to you. We use to have a 14' Alumicraft (filled with foam so the weight capacity was higher).

I am guessing 600lb max. Take in to account that battery weight.

Also, I know it is an older boat so probably won't, but Starcraft is known for leaking at the welds....which means maybe a pump.

That is a sweet set-up and it will get used allot I bet. Figure out how to mount you Pontoon to it and then how to get in the pontoon from the boat....?????[laugh][laugh][laugh][laugh]

Another thing to watch for in that small a boat, Michael, is taking wake straight on. I had a 12' boat, and almost sunk it by nosing straight into a wake from another boat. It took the first wave fine, but when the bow dipped, it scooped up half the lake from the second wave. Weight distribution could be critical. Probably other things could be done to mitigate the problem.
