Got away with the wife for some R & R. It has been a while since I have fished open water. So on our short getaway, I decided to hit the Provo river and some private ponds. Caught most throwing marabou jigs in the occasional deep pocket we came across in the river. There was practically no snow on the first day of fishing but by the time I woke up, the ground was covered. We caught both bows and browns with the biggest ones coming in the morning when it was snowing.
