i took a couple of guys around by the dam in about 10 to 12 foot of water and the water was crystal clear tons of fish under us at any one time 5 to 30 some very nice cuts and (the cuts)they was always on the bottom with the bow being staggered form 2 feet off bottom to right under the ice the size seemed the closer you got to the ice the small the bow where and i would also like to say congrats to who ever it was that decide not to feed the cut the fingerling planters and put bigger bows in they are alive and well now
the bow was about gone for many years i got 5 or so that was 21 inch those are some of the best ive seen in the berry and im not talking size its the numbers im getting 3 or for to every cut we also got into the cuts that day i got 6 over 23 inches and close to 6 pounds even though this fish are heavier then in past years they are shorter i would like to understand why could it be that they took away the rainbows as a food source and forced the cuts to do what they put then in the lake for eating the chubs i got pic of some but i do practice catch and release most of the time ill try to get pic on when i get to the right computer
