Met up with Joe yesterday at 3pm to do some prep fishing for what turned out to be a spectacular Spotted Bass show. We pre-fished a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and after a quick biscuit stop at Ralstons Corner we hit the lake around 7:30 this morning.

My Jerkbait and Swimbait fish did not Co-Op this morning, lost a big fish on Swimbait on film (SORRY RANDAL). Caught a few dinks and a Redfish on Jerkbaits. Approx 90mins into our day we made a very important switch to fishing shallow transition banks w/ Spinnerbaits, Scroungers, and an occassional Jerkbait too. The fish were very tight to shoreline cover on the upper end of the lake. We caught approx 35-40 Spots on film with a ton of 2.5-3lbrs. Lost another BIG Spot on film late in the afternoon so we didn't get our 5lb+ Spot like I try so hard to sell to all my clients. Regardless Joe and Jim (camera man) were often reminding me this would be a kick butt show and will be fantastic for my business. It's a good thing when Jim (producer) keeps saying the hard part will be to cut down to 12 or 13 fish for the show then put a highlight together of 20+ more fish we boated.

THANKS to my partner Bill Payne for driving the camera boat for us and TO JOE AND JIM for giving me the opportunity. I am humbled and very appreciative. I love guiding and this was a once in a lifetime opportunity that could be awesome for business and I'm truly thankful.

On a side note, Joe was extremely courteous to everyone on and off the water that approached us to speak/meet him, even while we were filming he took the time to shake hands and talked as long as the person wanted. He actually said he loved it. Truly a great guy with his priorities in order.

Trouble getting files to upload.
