so i just moved from san diego to salt lake in december. and finally after dealing with the really cold weather i finally got the courage to go out on the water!! did it pay off!!! i went out with my brother to a local spot. I was still a little scepticle about finding fish because of the cold and the species we were goin for(bass). so after about an hr of fishing with all types of baits and cranks i finally hooked up a lunker!!!(video coming soon!!!) this thing was 5lb 14oz. he didnt put up much of a fight cuz i figured it was lathargic. all together it was an awesome day of fishing except for the strong winds!
