After seeing Drum's report from yesterday I had to give it a try this morning before the big bad storm hit. Took Dickie's advise and threw the fluke on the 1/8 jig head close to the current seam. Had to weed my way through a lot of big drum but I finally connected. 21 and some change. Got to be a kid again, too....Drifting down the river was a brand new Kite so I tied it to my rod and had a blast out in the middle watching my new toy soar higher and higher...Then I got spooled and thought I'd probably lose all my stuff but I was able to reel it in to fly another day. Fun being a kid!
