<br /> I was at the ramp @ 6:45, hoping to beat the FLW boys to my honey-holes. The ramp was a zoo...at least 4 FLW boats went in ahead of me, and several after. Pretty rigs everywhere.<br /> I had one bite on a C-rig, and just like last week, I broke off at the hook. Dang.<br /> 4 hours and 1,000 casts later I was twitching a Pointer 100 over structure on a long point in 4-6 FOW and BAM! You know when they come out of the water, mouth and gills wide open, and you see about 8&amp;quot; of Bass face it can stop your heart. She jumped and rolled a few times before I lipped her, dodging trebles. Not a bad little 4-7 pre-spawn female, I&#39;m assuming, as the mouth and tail were pristine.<br /> I went home happy and wet. I spent almost 10 minutes trying to get her to swim off, but I was giving up hope and was just about to put her in the livewell for my neighbor. She must have been playing dead, because she suddenly jerked, slapped that tail, and I got a face-full of lake water for my efforts.<br /> No trick photography...the fish is even with my face in all my self-photos.
