Hey all, I'm a newbie here with my first post.
We went up to Rockport after hearing that there was some pretty good fishing. We went to the south east part (state park side) because there were a lot of cars near the dam and on the west side. After reading that bait was landing them, I used every type of powerbait that I own with only one strike for the 5 hours that I was there. Didnt even land the thing. Weather was iffy too. Bad winds from the northeast. Hopefully better luck next time.

I will be posting a photo panorama of the reservoir soon. In all my years in Utah I have never seen a reservoir so low. Hope it starts to fill soon.

Welcome to the site HA and thanks for posting your report. Too bad the catching was so poor but hopefully it will improve soon. Did you try any night crawlers or any bait other than PB?

[cool]They are drawing down the water there as low as they can....because they know how much water is coming down into it in the next month or two... just you wait... It's going to be flood city here in Utah pretty soon... Rockport will be plum full this summer...
